Matawan Beats Defending Champ Manasquan For NJ Football Title

Matawan claimed its first state sectional title since 1992 with a 28-12 win over defending champ Manasquan.
The Star-Ledger reports that Matawan was fueled by its junior quarterback Jared Allison, who accounted for 222 yards of total offense.

Ramsey roared back from an early River Dell touchdown to capture the North 2, Group 2 football championship Thursday.
