Phillipsburg will find out very quickly if it has what it takes to win its second straight North 2 Group 4 state championship. The Stateliners will open the season again Bergen Catholic, one of the top private schools in the Garden State on September 9th.
Head Coach Bob Stem (241-86-6 in 30 years) returned to alma mater last year, and ran the table. This year, Stem knows the league better, and that should help, especially with record-setting quarterback Justin Viscomi back.
